The Visit Newton Abbot Racecourse On Facebook Maiden Hurdle 2m 3f was run at an honest pace. Jonjo O’Neill’s dual bumper winner ANOTHER HERO a half-brother to the top class hurdler Back In Front, travelled well under the champion jockey and jumped fluently on his hurdle debut going comfortably clear after the third last to beat Kalmbeforethestorm by 8 lengths. There was plenty to like about this winning performance and he will be sure to follow-up this win.

Take a look at our tips for this afternoon’s fixture!
The sun was shining for St Austell Brewery’s Ladies’ Day at Newton Abbot Racecourse on Tuesday 25 June as crowds turned out for one of the most glamorous fixtures in the racing season.
The Triton Galleries Maiden Hurdle looked a very open affair with 16 runners taking up the 2m6f contest, going toward the second last there were just two horses fighting out the finish. British debutant and former Irish pointer Kilbree Kid and the Brendan Powell trained BENEFITS WELL who had looked promising in a recent bumper at Exeter both stayed on well with the later winning by a neck. Both horses look to have more to offer at this level over the summer jumping season.
