Experience a Traditional Day at the Races.There’s nothing quite like the thrill of live racing. Watch the horses thunder past the winning post, place a bet, and enjoy the buzz of the crowd - all at a more relaxed pace on our quieter racedays.

With easy access, a warm welcome, and stunning views across the course, our midweek fixtures are the perfect chance to enjoy racing in comfort.

Seating & Comfort
We know comfort is important, and there are a range of options on the day:
  • Free Seating: Picnic benches and benches are available throughout the course. In the Course Enclosure, sheltered benches are available on the top tier of the grandstand.
  • Grandstand Seats (Paddock Enclosure): Wooden, pull-down seats are available for £3 per seat, purchased from the Raceday Office on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Accessibility: Free seating around the racecourse is suitable for disabled guests, though the grandstand seating is not accessible. We also have an exclusive elevated area for wheelchair users in our Paddock Enclosure.

Food & Drink Options
Whether you’re after a quick snack, a hearty roast, or a glass of something sparkling, you’ll find plenty to enjoy:
  • Course Enclosure - Alfresco Café:
    A casual choice offering fast food, snacks and hot drinks. Food can be taken into the indoor Course Enclosure Bar.
  • Paddock Enclosure - Carvery Restaurant:
    Always a favourite, our carvery typically serves roast beef, pork, turkey and seasonal specials. Tables are for the duration of your meal only, so more racegoers can enjoy this popular dining option.
  • Paddock Enclosure - Silks Café:
    For a lighter bite, Silks serves coffee, champagne, sandwiches and cakes - a perfect mid-afternoon treat.

All cafés and restaurants are fully accessible for disabled guests.
