We have received some letters regarding the fixture on Saturday 3rd August and in particular concerning the entrance procedure and the bar and drinking areas.
The BlueGlue Graduate Juvenile Maiden Hurdle Race 2m 1f looked a moderate maiden race. BALTIC BLADE trained at Horsham by Gary Moore and rated 62 on the Flat jumped the best of the field and it proved to be the key to winning this race.
A very open maiden hurdle to start the evening, Osorios Trail has the best hurdles form and took on much stronger opposition nine days ago at Stratford so will be sure to start favourite. Another to have a chance if he can reproduce his Huntingdon form from earlier this year is Portway Flyer.
RACE 1 – 5.40
None of those with experience have form that is insurmountable and this is likely to go to one of the hurdle debutants. Relentless is the only winner in the field and commands maximum respect for a pairing that can do little wrong, but he’s likely to be plenty short enough and a chance is taken with BALTIC BLADE.
