The SIS Top-Class Data Delivery Handicap Chase tops the bill on Newton Abbot’s seven-race card on Friday 19th September and Welsh trainer Evan Williams, who scored a double at the last meeting, has two of the entries in Sublime Talent and Going Concern.

Ainsi Fideles stamped himself as an up-and-coming chaser for the future when beating the older and more experienced Lamb Or Cod to land the £11,000 North Devon Hospice Novices’ Chase at Newton Abbot on Monday 8th September.
2.10: Gin And Tonic showed some promise in bumpers but was beaten a long way when second of four runners at Southwell may need further. UPSANDDOWNS won a bumper in Kilbeggan a year ago and ran well here on debut for Evan Williams finishing second to a useful looking Arabic History in a bumper can make it a winning debut over hurdles here. Northern Bay was a runner-up on hurdling debut in France over the distance in April and was fourth on fast ground on hurdling debut for David Pipe he could pose a threat here.
