We’re celebrating Stable Staff week here at Newton Abbot Racecourse and at this Friday’s fixture the spotlight is on the behind the scenes team who make such a positive difference in racing. Look out for, and cheer our prize winners: the stable staff for the seven best turned out horses picked on Friday will receive a prize of £50 and a free Racing Welfare jacket.

This year’s St Austell Brewery Ladies’ Day at Newton Abbot lived up to expectations with the VIP Marquee and the enclosures brimming over with glamourous ladies and their partners. It proved to be a really glitzy spectacle, matched only by some thrilling racing during the evening.

It’s St Austell Brewery Ladies’ Day at Newton Abbot tomorrow and we’re all looking forward to enjoying the excitement and fun of our most glamourous fixture of the year. The six-race card gets underway at 6.00pm with the richest race of the evening, the 80´s Gold, 14 August Novices´ Hurdle over two miles.
