Step into Post‑War Intrigue at Newton Abbot Racecourse’s 1940s Murder Mystery Night

Newton Abbot, Devon – Newton Abbot Racecourse is delighted to announce an immersive and unforgettable evening of suspense, drama and delicious dining with its 1940s Murder Mystery event on Saturday 7th March 2026 at 7:00 pm.

Presented by the esteemed Cornwall Murder Mystery Company, “Shadows of Betrayal” transports guests back to a small 1940s town in the aftermath of war – a world of foggy loyalties, hidden secrets and tangled hearts. When war veteran Lloyd returns home to unsettling news concerning his beloved fiancée Dotty, tensions escalate and long‑buried truths begin to surface. As relationships fray and deception takes centre stage, guests are invited to unravel the mystery before the final curtain falls.

Tickets are priced at £45.00 per person and include:
- A welcome drink
- A three‑course dinner inspired by the period
- Plenty of FREE parking on site

The specially curated menu features:
- A hearty potted ham hock starter with chutney and bread crouton
- Classic Chicken à la King with colcannon mash and vegetables
- Apple and blackberry crumble with vanilla custard
