Newton Abbot Racecourse celebrates racing staff with the Betfair Racing Staff Week Cup

Newton Abbot Racecourse is thrilled to be supporting Racing Staff Week by holding the Betfair Racing Staff Week Cup at our next fixture on Friday 5 July.

The Betfair Racing Staff Week Cup is exclusively for stable staff that have been nominated by their employer to race to say thank you for their hard work and dedication. Boasting a full complement of 12 riders, those taking part are raising money for Racing Welfare and will run a distance of 1m 4f.

The race is part of Racing Staff Week, run by Racing Welfare, that looks to celebrate the amazing work that racing staff do and the positive impact they have on the industry.

Wishing runners the best of luck on Friday afternoon.

Racing for the afternoon starts at 1.40pm with gates opening at 11.40am. The Betfair Racing Staff Week Cup race will take place at 5.15pm.
