Key dates for your diary this season

2016 is filled with thrilling fixtures and events at Newton Abbot. Below are dates not to be missed! Below is just a taster of what’s coming up at Newton Abbot; have a look at our full fixture list here!

• Season Opener, Easter Saturday 26 March – Celebrate the start of the new season and the extended Bank Holiday with our season opener! As it’s Easter, the first 200 children through the gate will also receive a free Easter egg on the day.
• Back-to-back fixtures, Wednesday 4 and Thursday 5 May – Enjoy thrilling racing action with our back-to-back fixtures, with a prize fund of £150,000 across both fixtures.
• Ladies’ Day, Tuesday 21 June – The most glamorous fixture of the season will return this June. Why not make it an extra special day with our VIP Marquee? Just £75 per person or a table of 10 for £700!
• Start of the holidays, Sunday 17 July – Enjoy an afternoon of racing with friends and family to celebrate the start of the summer holidays.
• 150th anniversary fixture, Wednesday 10 August – This year marks our 150th year of racing. To celebrate, we’re holding a fixture on the date of our first recorded race in 1866.
• 80’s Gold, Sunday 14 August – See Tony Hadley, ABC, Bananarama and Midge Ure live this summer at Newton Abbot. Early Bird tickets on sale until 31 March!
