Friday sees the first of four meetings at Newton Abbot during the month of July with the Class 3 NewtonAbbotRace on Twitter Novices’ Limited Handicap Steeple Chase the feature of a six-race card that gets underway at 2.40pm.
Trainer Milton Harris has chosen Stepney Causeway from his two entries and this Worcester winner was also engaged in the later newtonabbotracing.com Handicap Hurdle and at Stratford on Tuesday, so he clearly thinks that this race offers the best chance of winning.

Monday sees the penultimate meeting to be held at Newton Abbot track this season, and is one not to be missed, with two Class 3 races among the seven on the card, this promises to be an action-packed day of racing.

Racing Preview - Friday 16 September 2022
Friday sees the second of three meetings at Newton Abbot this month, with the Class 3 Torbay Media Novices’ Chase, in which three of the four runners are making their debut over fences, topping the seven-race card.
The one with experience is Byzantine Empire, who was chasing a hat-trick when beaten 12 lengths by Ragamuffin over course and distance last month, never getting near enough to challenge the winner. He has to give10lbs to his three rivals, the best of whom, on hurdles ratings, is Geni De La Cour.
